FH6 Series 5: Winter Deadline & Spring Preview

FH6 Series 5 Winter ends October 1.

The FH6 Series 5 Winter checklist is live from September 24 through October 1, 2026. British Automotive now moves from the Jaguar XKR-S GT and MINI JCW GP Autumn rewards to two new Winter claims: the 2006 Vauxhall Astra VXR at 20 Playlist Points and the 2016 Bentley Bentayga at 40. Use the in-game Playlist timer as the final local deadline check.

Current Winter rewards

The official FH6 Playlist Hub lists the Astra VXR at 20 points and the Bentayga at 40 points. The Astra is a B 512 FWD car with a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four, 236 hp, and 236 lb-ft. The Bentley is an A 612 AWD SUV with a 6.0-liter W12, 599 hp, and 663 lb-ft. Claim the Astra first, then continue to 40 for the Bentayga if you want both. The new Winter tuning guide gives each car a practical starting setup.

This week's official checklist

The Winter hub lists the 2010 Jaguar C-X75 weekly challenge, plus daily objectives for a Car Meet, three Speed Skills, a photo, a 15,000-credit upgrade, a Wheelspin, a Speed Trap star, and one Time Attack lap. The week also includes the #BambooPerfect photo challenge at the Bamboo Forest and a 100,000-credit Treasure Hunt in Shimanoyama.

Winter restrictions and route

Start with the Astra claim at 20 points, then continue to 40 for the Bentayga. The two Winter championships use different restrictions: Country Pickups requires Pickups & 4x4’s in B class, while Cult Street requires Cult Cars in D class. The Trial uses Rally Monsters in A class, so check your garage before buying parts. The Astra is a compact FWD project; the Bentayga is a separate AWD mixed-surface project rather than a replacement for the restricted cars.

Drift Attack and PR Stunts

Drift Attack remains a permanent open-world feature at Shimanoyama Circuit, and Winter asks for a United Kingdom A-class target of 80,000 points. The official PR Stunts are a B-class Azure Drive Danger Sign at 689.0 feet, an A-class Tall Trees Speed Zone at 70.0 mph, and an A-class Sekibe Kaijo Trailblazer at 42 seconds. For a dedicated RWD drift setup, use the site’s Drift Attack tuning guide rather than forcing the Astra or Bentayga into a leaderboard build.

Best order this week

Complete the daily objectives that overlap with your normal driving, bank 20 points for the Astra, and continue to 40 for the Bentayga. Then choose the championship or Horizon Play entry that matches cars already in your garage. Leave The Trial until you have an A-class Rally Monster ready. The live hub and the in-game Playlist screen remain the authority if a route or reset display differs.

Next rotation: Spring preview

As checked on September 29, the official Playlist Hub still labels Winter as the current season. The Series 5 announcement schedules Spring for October 1 through October 8. The 2002 Lotus Esprit V8 is the 20-point reward; the 2023 Lotus Emira needs 40 points. Do not treat the Spring row as active before the in-game rotation changes.

Both Lotus rewards use rear-wheel drive. The official announcement lists the Esprit at A 619 with 350 hp, and the Emira at A 656 with 400 hp. Those are stock figures, not tested race results. Our advice: claim the car you want before spending credits on a new build. More power alone does not prove which car will suit your route.

Spring events: what is confirmed and what is missing

The official hub previews a weekly challenge using the 1964 Aston Martin DB5 Vantage, plus upgrades, Street Races and Speed Zones. It also names the Nangan Treasure Hunt, Rally on Dirt and Aston Martin Nights. Several Spring entries still have empty car restrictions or target fields in the hub. We will not guess classes, stunt targets or a photo location from an event name.

Our preparation advice is to check your garage for the DB5 and keep credits aside. Wait for the live event tile before buying parts. For example, a car that works in an open road race may not meet a seasonal class limit. Treat this preview as a shopping reminder, not a full completion guide.

October 1 Car Pass arrival is separate

The official schedule places the 1987 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe 'Luftauto 002' in Car Pass on October 1. It is listed at B 561 with rear-wheel drive and 250 hp. This is not one of the two Spring point rewards. Check your Car Pass entitlement before planning to collect it; earning Playlist points is a separate route.

Finish Winter before preparing for Spring

Our priority is to claim any missing Winter reward first. Then use the linked treasure and tuning guides for tasks you have already chosen. Check each tile for its own expiry timer, and leave the Spring preview until the season changes. This keeps unfinished claims from getting lost in next week's garage planning.

Rechecked September 29, 2026 against the Playground Games Series 5 announcement, British Automotive release notes and official Festival Playlist Hub. The September 7 release notes document the British Automotive patch; this preview does not claim a new September 29 patch. Recommendations above are our planning advice, not measured lap times.
