FH6 Autumn Tuning: Jaguar XKR-S GT & MINI GP

Published: September 17, 2026 ยท Last updated: November 6, 2026 ยท 11 min read

The FH6 Autumn tuning plan is simple: claim the 2015 Jaguar XKR-S GT at 20 Playlist Points, then reach 40 for the 2021 MINI John Cooper Works GP and give each car a job. The Jaguar is an A 671 RWD grand tourer with 542 hp, while the MINI is a B 599 FWD hot hatch with 302 hp. This guide turns the official stock data into two practical starting baselines for Autumn road events, PR Stunts, and Drift Attack practice.

The official FH6 Festival Playlist Hub lists British Automotive Autumn from September 17 through September 24, 2026. Playground Games’ Series 5 announcement confirms the reward thresholds, engine output, class, and drivetrain. The slider values below are FH6 Guide recommendations: validate them with your controller, assists, tires, and the route you actually drive.

Autumn reward cars at a glance

CarThresholdStock class / PIPower / torqueDriveBest first job
2015 Jaguar XKR-S GT20 pointsA 671542 hp / 501 lb-ftRWDA-class road / PR Stunts
2021 MINI John Cooper Works GP40 pointsB 599302 hp / 332 lb-ftFWDB-class road / Drift Attack practice

Do not treat one car as a universal winner. The Jaguar gives you rear-drive rotation, a higher stock class, and enough power for fast road work. The MINI is lighter in character, front-driven, and easier to use as a B-class momentum car. The official numbers describe the stock vehicles; the role labels here are our testing recommendations.

Claim order: Jaguar at 20, MINI at 40

Start with the Jaguar XKR-S GT because it is the first Autumn vehicle reward. If your time is limited, reach 20 points, claim it, and stop only after the reward is confirmed in your garage. Continue to 40 for the MINI if you want the complete pair and a different drivetrain for lower-class events. Which one should you tune first? Use the Jaguar for fast A-class road work; use the MINI when you want a compact B-class FWD project.

Autumn’s official checklist includes the Fast and Lotus weekly challenge, daily tasks for Drift Zone, Feed Me, LINK Air, Danger Sign, Clean Racing, Gift Drop, and Road Race skills, plus the #RuralLotus photo challenge at Shirakawa-Go. It also lists the Shimanoyama Tire Hunt, two championships, PR Stunts, The Trial, Horizon Drift, Hide & Seek, and Horizon Stunt Party. The reward cars do not satisfy every restriction, so check the current in-game requirement before spending credits on a build.

Jaguar XKR-S GT A-class RWD baseline

The Jaguar starts at A 671, so the first setup goal is control rather than a dramatic power swap. Keep the RWD layout and the supercharged V8 for the first test. Add grip and braking before chasing a higher top speed. This is a repeatable road and PR Stunt baseline, not an official share code.

AreaStarting pointWhy it helps
TiresUse a road-focused compound; start around 27.0 psi front / 26.5 psi rearA little rear compliance reduces snap oversteer on exits
AlignmentFront camber -1.3ยฐ, rear -0.8ยฐ, toe 0ยฐ, caster 6.0ยฐKeeps the front predictable without making the rear nervous
Anti-roll barsStart near 27 front / 23 rearLeaves enough front bite while letting the rear rotate gradually
BrakesIncrease pressure moderately; bias near 48% front if lockup allowsHelps the heavy car turn after a straight-line braking zone
DifferentialAcceleration 62%, deceleration 20%Keeps both rear tires useful without forcing power oversteer
Aero / gearingUse moderate rear stability; adjust final drive only after a clean lapProtects corner exits before you trade stability for speed

Test the Jaguar on three repeatable sections: one heavy braking zone, one medium-speed corner, and one full-throttle exit. If the nose pushes wide, reduce front tire pressure slightly or add a small rear-bar increase. If the rear steps out when you lift, lower the rear differential deceleration value before adding more rear grip. Change one setting group at a time and keep the stock tune saved.

MINI JCW GP B-class FWD baseline

The MINI is a B 599 FWD car with 302 hp and 332 lb-ft. Its main risk is front-tire overload: too much power or differential lock can make the car pull wide on corner exit. Keep the FWD layout for the first B-class test and spend PI on tires, braking, and chassis response before engine upgrades.

AreaStarting pointWhat to watch
TiresStart around 28.0 psi front / 27.0 psi rearReduce front pressure if the car washes wide under throttle
AlignmentFront camber -1.8ยฐ, rear -1.0ยฐ, toe 0ยฐ, caster 5.5ยฐFront grip should arrive before power is applied
Anti-roll barsStart near 21 front / 29 rearA more active rear helps the FWD car rotate into tight corners
DifferentialAcceleration 70%, deceleration 15%Too much lock creates inside-wheel scrub and exit understeer
Brakes / gearingKeep bias close to 51% front; shorten only if the track has slow exitsAvoid making first gear unusable on corner exit

Use a gentle lift before turn-in, rotate the MINI with the brake, and feed throttle after the front wheels point toward the exit. If it still understeers, do not immediately add power. Try a little less front differential lock or a small rear-bar change, then repeat the same corner. The MINI’s FWD layout is a strength when you use the front tires to pull the car out of a slow bend, but only if they are not overloaded. This FH6 Autumn tuning baseline should make the car easier to read before you chase a faster lap.

Autumn activity pairing

Use the Jaguar for the United Kingdom A-class Speed Trap and Speed Zone targets if your build remains stable at high speed. The MINI is a better practice tool for technical lines and controlled skill work, but Autumn’s official championship restrictions are separate: Offroad Scramble asks for Total Buggies & Offroad in B class, while Toys on the Road asks for Track Toys in S1. The Trial uses Modern Supercars in S1, so prepare a different car rather than forcing either reward into the wrong class.

The week’s Drift Zone and Horizon Drift entries are a good place to test weight transfer, but the official Playground Games announcement describes Drift Attack as a permanent feature with Clipping Zones and leaderboards. Use the Drift Attack tuning guide for a dedicated RWD drift setup; do not confuse this road-race baseline with a maximum-angle drift build.

Three-pass tuning routine

  1. Baseline: save the stock setup and run the same route once without changing the car.
  2. Grip pass: change tires, alignment, and brakes only. Record where the car first loses time.
  3. Balance pass: adjust bars, differential, and one gearing change. Keep the change only if the same corner improves twice.

For a repeatable FH6 Autumn tuning routine, use the site’s FH6 tuning guide and suspension tuning guide. For the broader seasonal completion route, use the FH6 Festival Playlist guide; the Season Events page keeps the Autumn thresholds and dates visible.

Verdict: use the Jaguar to secure 20, then tune the MINI

The Jaguar XKR-S GT is the first Autumn claim and the easier A-class road and PR Stunt starting point. Reach 20 points, claim it, then continue to 40 for the MINI JCW GP if you want a compact FWD project. Keep both setups conservative, validate one change at a time, and confirm the live Playlist requirement before starting each restricted event. This FH6 Autumn tuning plan is built for repeatable progress, not a one-run share-code promise.
