Horizon Mascot Party Guide: FH6 Rewards & Dates

Updated August 11, 2026. Horizon Mascot Party is the current Forza Horizon 6 live-service update. The download went live on August 10, while its four-week Festival Playlist starts on August 13. This guide turns the official announcement into a practical checklist: which rewards to target, how to plan your points, what to do at the temporary Edamame Time Attack Circuit, and which Car Pass cars are next.

Horizon Mascot Party dates and the August 10 update

The update is available on Xbox Series X|S, the Xbox app for PC, and Steam. The Festival Playlist opens on August 13 at 2:30PM UTC and runs through September 10. If your local time is different, use the UTC time as the reliable reset reference.

• August 10, 5:00PM UTC: Horizon Mascot Party game update becomes available.
• August 13, 2:30PM UTC: Summer season and the new Playlist rewards begin.
• August 20: Autumn season starts.
• August 27: Winter season starts.
• September 3: Spring season starts.
• September 10: the series ends and the next seasonal rotation begins.

Several quality-of-life fixes are included. The update addresses an issue where buying a car at a Car Meet could unlock its livery, missing thumbnails for custom liveries, and the incorrect “Garage Full” message shown when a new Car Pass car was delivered. The patch also adds American Sign Language and British Sign Language picture-in-picture support for cinematics.

Horizon Mascot Party Festival Playlist rewards

The main collection goal is the 1970 Honda N600 at 80 total series points. The official announcement also highlights the 2024 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 and 2018 Exomotive Exocet Sport V8 XP-5 as new-to-Horizon cars. Seasonal rewards are time-gated, so collect the current week’s cars before the rotation changes.

The series also includes the 1970 Honda N600 at 80 points and a 1967 Renault 8 Gordini at 160 points in the catch-up reward pool listed in the August release notes. If you want the complete 10-car set, plan beyond the N600 target. The series also adds two Badges — Mascot and Shimanoyama Heat — and two Car Horns: Mascot and Fus-Roh-Dah. Our fastest route to the 80-point Honda N600

1. Secure the 20- and 40-point seasonal cars first. They are the most valuable time-limited rewards each week, and earning both gives you half of the seasonal target.
2. Use low-friction activities to finish the week. Championships, PR Stunts, Time Attack, Horizon Play, photo challenges, and daily tasks all contribute through different activity types. Pick the ones that match the cars and classes you already drive well.
3. Do not leave the 80-point series reward until the final day. The N600 is available across the full series, but completing the weekly rewards early gives you a buffer if a multiplayer activity or matchmaking queue is inconvenient.
4. Bookmark the official Playlist hub. It archives the current and previous events, which is safer than relying on an old weekly screenshot.

If the Playlist is not visible in your menu, finish the opening qualification path first. The official FH6 starting guide explains that the Festival Playlist becomes available after you qualify for the Horizon Festival and earn your first Wristband.

Edamame Time Attack Circuit: how to approach it

Edamame is a temporary Evolving World Time Attack Circuit created for this series. The in-world leaderboard compares your best time at the car’s current PI level, shows your next rival, and displays the global top three before resetting in the next season.

• Start with a car you already control. A familiar braking point is more useful than switching to an unfamiliar meta build on the first run.
• Keep the PI level consistent. The leaderboard is tied to the car’s current PI level, so compare runs only after confirming the build and class have not changed.
• Make one change at a time. Test tire compound, gearing, and downforce separately so you can tell which change actually improves the lap.
• Use the circuit as a tuning test. Our FH6 tuning guide covers the basic handling adjustments, while the PR Stunts guide is useful for learning how to carry speed cleanly through technical sections.

There is no permanent leaderboard advantage to forcing one session. Post a clean baseline, note the next rival’s gap, then return with a focused setup change. The point of this circuit is repeatable improvement rather than a one-off launch exploit.

Car Pass schedule: August 13 through September 3

Car Pass continues to deliver one car each Thursday. The official Series 4 announcement lists the following four additions:

• August 13: 1987 Porsche #203 Porsche AG 961 — AWD, S2 840.
• August 20: 1957 Ford Thunderbird — RWD, D 332.
• August 27: 1968 Alfa Romeo Tipo 33/2 — RWD, A 696.
• September 3: 1983 Nissan Skyline 2000 Turbo RS — RWD, C 413.

These are Car Pass deliveries, not Festival Playlist rewards. If you own Car Pass through the Deluxe Edition, Premium Edition, Premium Upgrade, or as a separate purchase, each car is delivered automatically on its listed Thursday.

EventLab, collectibles, and what comes next

Creators get 47 mascot-themed EventLab props, including flags, billboards, cutouts, barriers, pit garages, scooters, bikes, garage containers, and a plant box. They can be used in EventLab events, Customizable Garages, and the Estate. The update also adds seasonal summer variants to some props.

The next announced theme is British Automotive, planned for September. Playground Games has not published its detailed reward list or exact start time yet, so treat any leaked car list as unverified until it appears in an official Series announcement or the Playlist hub.
