Forza Horizon 6 Hidden Locations Guide - Secrets You Must Find

Published: May 7, 2026 | 9 min read

Forza Horizon 6's Japan map is packed with secrets — hidden areas, reference locations, and discoverable landmarks that reward curious explorers. This guide highlights the most notable hidden locations that players should seek out.

Akina Pass — Initial D Tribute

The most exciting hidden location in FH6 is the Akina Pass in the map's northeast region — a clear tribute to the famous mountain road from Initial D. The pass features the iconic hairpin turns that made the manga and anime famous. Look for it in the upper-right area of the FH6 map, recognizable by its steep switchbacks and mountain setting. This is one of the best drift and touge racing roads in the game.

Hidden Golf Course — Minamino Region

A fully functional golf course is hidden in the Minamino region. Most players drive right past it without noticing. Look for a large green area surrounded by orange off-road trails. The best approach is from the Shirakawa-go area to the north — drive south and look for a 365 convenience store on your right. Just past it, a road leads to the golf course entrance. Park near the clubhouse to explore. A rare 1969 Dodge Charger R/T barn find is parked at the golf course entrance — one of the most valuable muscle cars in FH6.

Daikoku Parking Area — Car Meetup Spot

The Daikoku Parking Area is both a social hub and a hidden gem location. This accurately modeled truck stop serves as the meeting point for the Drift Club Japan story and hosts the weekly Car Meetup event. It's one of the best spots in Tokyo City for photographing builds and seeing other players' cars.

Iconic Landmarks

FH6's Japan includes numerous real-world Japanese landmarks recreated in detail. Key highlights include: Kinkaku-ji (the Golden Temple) in Otani, Tokyo Tower and Rainbow Bridge in the Tokyo City district, and various Shinto shrines scattered across rural regions. These landmarks serve as both photo targets and fast travel points after discovery.

Hidden Beach Parks

Japan's coastline is dotted with small beach parking areas that make perfect photo spots. The eastern coast near Tokyo City has several pull-over areas overlooking the ocean. The southern islands feature pristine beaches with turquoise water — ideal for exotic car photography sessions.

Tips for Finding Secrets

Follow orange off-road trails — they almost always lead to something worth seeing. Explore every area with a "point of interest" marker. Barn finds appear as glowing spots on the map, typically in out-of-the-way areas like behind buildings, inside caves, or at the end of dead-end roads.
