FH6 Horizon Meets: Update Live, Playlist Starts Oct 8
Horizon Meets is rolling out, but its Festival Playlist starts October 8.
The FH6 Horizon Meets update and its Festival Playlist do not start at the same time. Playground Games scheduled the game download for October 5 at 5:00 p.m. UTC (October 6 at 1:00 a.m. Beijing time). Series 6 Playlist points begin October 8 at 2:30 p.m. UTC (10:30 p.m. Beijing time). Can you see new update content today? That still does not mean you can earn the next Series rewards. Check the in-game Playlist timer before starting a seasonal task.
What the October update changes now
The official FH6 Horizon Meets announcement describes a temporary 7-Eleven-themed Car Meet in Nangan, near Nangan Day Trip, plus an EventLab prop pack. The convenience-store setting is temporary for this series. The konbini prop remains available for creations. The first-week photo challenge will award the Clerk Uniform for photographing the Car Meet. We have not verified an exact map pin or that the location is visible on every platform. Install the update and use the in-game map before travelling there.
Playground Games also announced a photo-clue Treasure Car, the 1970 Citroën 2CV. The public article does not publish exact coordinates, so avoid guides that invent a fixed location before checking the clue in game. Horizon Play gains 200 additional levels and 20 badges, one per 10 levels. The official notes say previously earned XP beyond level 100 counts toward the new ranks. Edamame Circuit is added to Horizon Drift for all PI classes, Spec Racing for B and C class, and Horizon Racing for B class.
Series 6 reward calendar: what is confirmed
FH6 Horizon Meets is scheduled from October 8 through November 5. The series-level 2025 BMW M4 CS requires 80 points. The four announced 20-point seasonal cars are: 2000 Honda Prelude Type SH in Summer (October 8–15), 2018 DeBerti Ford Mustang GT in Autumn (October 15–22), 2004 Saleen S7 in Winter (October 22–29), and 1968 Holden Monaro GTS 327 in Spring (October 29–November 5). Those are four separate weekly targets, not cars obtainable on October 6. The announcement also names the 1973 Lamborghini Espada 400 GT as a Series History reward at 1,100 points. That long-term total is not the 80-point Series 6 BMW threshold.
The official news post gives the Prelude a stock C 455 rating, 200 hp, and front-wheel drive. It lists the BMW at S1 733, 543 hp, and all-wheel drive. These are published stock specifications, not tuned race results. We will wait for the October 8 live Playlist before publishing a full Summer event-by-event checklist: on October 6, the public Playlist Hub still displays British Automotive Spring and does not yet show the Series 6 event rows.
Finish the current Spring week first
British Automotive Spring remains the active Playlist until the Thursday reset. Its official rewards are the 2002 Lotus Esprit V8 at 20 points and the 2023 Lotus Emira at 40 points, available through October 8. If you need either car, use the in-game timer to prioritize those claims before starting a new-series plan. Our Spring Lotus tuning guide covers the cars after you unlock them, and the Season Events page tracks the rotation. The new Series 6 cars will not replace an unclaimed Spring Lotus in your garage.
Patch fixes and a practical October 6 checklist
The October 5 official release notes report a fix for Drift Attack scores accumulated through fast travel or rewinds, plus fixes for the Temple of Nachi Falls photo-journal objective, stationary Tire Scrub audio, and Drive Mode animation audio on four named cars. The notes also point to additional engine swaps in the full support changelog; we are not claiming specific swap combinations that we have not verified.
For now: install the update, confirm your version in game, finish any missing British Automotive Spring points, and bookmark the October 8 Playlist start. Once Horizon Meets activates, check the live restrictions before buying a Summer build or travelling to a photo objective. That order avoids treating a future reward as a current task.
