FH6 Racing Wheel Settings - Force Feedback & Calibration
Racing wheels provide the most immersive FH6 experience when properly configured. This guide covers wheel setup, force feedback tuning, and calibration for Logitech, Thrustmaster, and Fanatec wheels.
Force Feedback Basics
Force feedback recreates steering resistance based on tire load, road surface, and car handling. Higher force feedback provides more detail but requires stronger wheels. Start at 50-70% force strength and adjust based on your wheel's capabilities and your preferences.
Wheel Rotation
Match your wheel's rotation setting to your car's expected steering angle. Sports cars typically need 360-540 degrees while Formula-style setups use 270 degrees or less. FH6 allows in-game rotation adjustment independent of wheel settings.
Calibration Process
Proper calibration ensures centered steering and accurate range of motion. Run the wheel calibration utility before adjusting in-game settings. Verify that full left and right lock register correctly before fine-tuning force feedback curves.
