Forza Horizon 6 Preview: 10 Things You Need to Know
Forza Horizon 6 is almost here! Set in Japan with a map 5x larger than any previous Forza Horizon game, this is the biggest and most ambitious Horizon festival yet. Here's everything you need to know before launch.
1. Tokyo is MASSIVE
The Japan map features Tokyo as its centerpiece, and Playground Games has confirmed it's approximately 5 times larger than the largest city in Forza Horizon 5. We're talking Shibuya, Shinjuku, Tokyo Bay, Akihabara, and more.
2. 550+ Cars at Launch
Forza Horizon 6 launches with over 550 vehicles spanning decades of automotive history. From classic JDM legends like the Toyota Sprinter Trueno to modern supercars like the Ferrari 488 Pista.
3. Premium Early Access: May 15
Premium and Ultimate edition owners get a 4-day head start on May 15. That's 4 extra days to explore Tokyo, find Barn Finds, and get a head start on achievements.
4. PC Requirements Are Reasonable
You don't need a beast of a machine. A GTX 1650 can handle 1080p at 60fps. Even mid-range PCs from 2019 can run this game excellently.
5. Five Major Regions
Beyond Tokyo, you'll explore Kyoto's ancient temples, Osaka's vibrant streets, Hokkaido's mountain passes, and Okinawa's tropical roads.
6. Seasonal Events System
The seasons return with new twists. Each 4-week season brings new weekly challenges, season-specific events, and exclusive rewards like cars and customization items.
7. Blueprint Code Database
Thousands of player-created race blueprints will be available at launch. Search by track type, car class, reward type, and more. Copy codes with one click.
8. Nine Music Stations
Nine radio stations with licensed music, including J-Pop, rock, electronic, and Horizon's signature festival beats. Guaranteed to keep you pumped during long drives.
9. Cross-Platform Play
Play with friends on Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Xbox One. The Horizon Festival is bigger than ever with cross-play keeping the community together.
10. Game Pass Day One
Forza Horizon 6 launches on Xbox Game Pass on day one for subscribers. No need to pre-order unless you want Premium early access.
